The Cyprus Property Sales Market
Just like its British equivalent, the Cyprus
Property Sales Market is subject to changing trends.
For instance, whilst
the majority of British buyers at the beginning of 2006
were looking for properties around Paphos and Polis
Chrysochous,
recent developments in the Republic's east have prompted
an incresing amount of interest, not only in the Paralimni region, but also some of the smaller villages towards
the Green Line.
The Larnaca region
too, is is experiencing a growing amount of interest from
British (and other European) home buyers, a trend which
may at least be in part attributed to forthcoming improvements
to the town's infrastructure which include the expansion
of Larnaca International Airport, the forthcoming construction
of the Tersefanou
Golf Course and the complete remodelling
of the Dekhelia Road tourist area, which will see the
construction of a new marina along with several new luxury
hotels.
