Memberships at Secret Valley
As per usual, the membership fee of €1,880 per annum includes unlimited golf at Secret Valley, and, interestingly enough, at Minthis Hills (Tsada). It's worth noting that memberships here run from January to December, so if you are considering this club, then it pays to join early in the year.
Secret Valley also operates an associate membership scheme (fees are in the process of changing), which allows this type of member to pre-pay for 10, 20 or 30 rounds of golf at reduced Green Fees. We will bring you more information as soon as the rates for 2011 are set by the club's operators.

Alas, Secret Valley does not boast the kind of facilities found at some other courses
Facilities at the Secret Valley Golf Club include a pair of practice greens with pitching & chipping areas and sand trap, a 12 bay driving range measuring some 250 metres, ball machines, and professional instruction. The clubhouse also includes lounges, a surprisingly fine restaurant, and a massive veranda with spectacular views of the rock formations on the opposite side of the valley.
All in all, Secret Valley's stunning scenic beauty, and relaxed country club atmosphere almost manage to make up for the fact that the current course can no longer effectively compete against competitors on the island, especially since the opening of Sir Nick Faldo's signature links at Agia Marinouda. And with more signature venues, such as twin links by Jack Nicklaus & Gary Player at Limni Golf Resort, coming to Cyprus in the foreseeable future, life can only become more difficult for this club, unless of course the planned remodelling programme by Tony Jacklin is actually carried out.
